Renuka Menon is a South Indian actress. She was introduced to the film industry through a Malayalam film directed by Kamal. She then went to Telugu and Kannada. She paired up with Upendra in a Kannada film News. She has performed in several movies in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
Renuka Menon is a very lucky girl and she has very quickly set her foot in all the four South Indian Film Industries – Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. The story of how she took up acting as her career is very interesting. Due to her interest in acting, her mother used to send so many photos of hers to the magazines. It was when one such photo came in the cover of a magazine “Mahilarathnam” which very much impressed a film producer who came all way and met her father asking if his daughter would be interested in acting. Though Renuka's debut “Mayamohitachandran” with Kunchako Boban did not make up to be released, it was Kamal's “Nammal” that help her up to the sky. After which offers started pouring from Tamil, Telugu and Kannada as well. And it's all how it started and now she is one of the famous faces in the whole of South India.
